This is the room where they practice using the different arms, drills, and the lasers on the various rovers. In these pictures, they have two Sojourner (I think that's Sojourner# rovers-there are only three or four in existence. One is stripped down #upper left photo) to the weight it would be on Mars. You can see the trenches made by the arms in the sand box.
