This is just experimentation!

I used HeatherT's @MScraps for the background paper: SIMPLE, BROWNS (much adjusted and really used as a texture). I also developed a custom gradient and used as a blended overlay. Also, a brush of HeatherT's from: GRUNGE BRUSHES #2, plus another brush from a freebie from the net.
