Losing a dog isn't that easy. It's like losing a family member.
Journaling reads:
You and Maya are the dearest to me and Ace because of Mamang. It was Mamang who chose you among the puppies to be sent to us here in Davao. We brought you here after our short hometown visit in April of 2006. That visit was the last time that Ace saw Mamang alive. You have grown to be fierce but your eyes are as sweet as that of Mamang. You are not the sweetest dog but you are the smartest. You always wanted to be the center of attention that you make ways to shift our attention to you everytime we are petting Maya. You never make friends with other dogs except for Maya. Indeed, you are one of the best guard dogs because nobody could go near the house - you even bark at the smallest living creature that you see. We never thought you would leave us thiis early. I am expecting you to grow old with us. The saddest thing is, we are not around when you died. We do not know what really happened and how you suffered before your last breath. It broke our hearts. I never know it would be that hard to bury you as I am holding back the tears while we are saying our last goodbye to you. You will forever be our Puto and you will be forever loved. It will never be the same again without Puto in our lives but one thing is for sure. We will be forever grateful that we were able to spend 5 years of our lives with you. Till then, Puto.
