As I pulled off the M4 towards Hammersmith I expected my heart to start singing. I was home. Having been away for so long I thought the singing would be loud & clear. But instead, I felt a sense of well, here we go again - I suppose you would call it resignation. Until, that is, I remembered things like: Id get to sleep in my own bed, be mistress of my own fridge and take the best shower Id had in a month. Maybe coming home is not so bad after all.
And yes, I really did spend time standing in my shower taking a photo!
