Just as long as she doesn't end of doing what I did at her age ... I got a pair of kitchen scissors (not particularly sharp as I recall) and cut my own fringe!!! It was so wonky / uneven, but mum tried her best, but I was still left with a dumb haircut for a few months until it grew out!!! It's good that she's expressing her own unique style (like tutu's and wellies!!!)
Love the splatters of grunginess, H. I'm stuck with the opposite problem - Ginny's rising 11 now and still won't make any attempt to brush her own hair.
Sydney will brush hers and do ponies...but those are the only skills that I have. So, if she wants something more sophisticated, (like braids or curls), I need to engage my niece!
