Here's my entry for the May 2011 Camera Corner Challenge. Helen asked us to convey the concept of the photo we'd taken, and this photo just screams "sense of humour" to me - especially coming from my usually rather solemn little boy!
Ooops, the journaling is a little small, don't want to give anyone eye strain, so here it is:
Woody was helping with the chores and I asked him to collect the dry laundry from the garden.
How? he asked.
Just fill the basket, I replied, heading off upstairs with my load.
I returned to see how he was getting on and found this.
I filled the basket, Mama! he said proudly. And now Im ready to be fired off into space, see, my scooter is the launch pad.
Laughing hard, I did the only thing a mother can do in this situation grabbed my camera and captured the moment for posterity. Thus, when Woody is 62 tall we can chuckle at the fact that when he was 6 he had a cracking sense of the ridiculous and was small enough to fit inside the laundry basket.
