My journaling reads:
Ive lost count of how many houses I lived in when I was younger. Dads career in the RAF meant we moved around the country a lot, 5yrs here, 3yrs there, never really staying anywhere long enough to call it home. When I married Iain I figured the nomadic lifestyle would continue as in the military, you accept that postings are only temporary. Since leaving the army, weve lived in the same town for 18yrs now & the same house for 16yrs. Thats the longest Ive ever lived anywhere. I guess I can finally call this house, home.
