After you went with your class, to visit the University, as Yvis parents invite you all to do so, we (Sif, Chris and I) thought that when 2 kids out of 11, have parents working at the same place, it istheir duty to show you whats going on at the marine research institute of Reykjavik
Time is set, at 9.00 on 14th of february 2011.
You first were dressed into big plastic bags, so your clothes would not be smelly for a whole day after your trip in to fishy world.
And then you went to see, and touch a HUGE fish which was heading to London Museum after wards. With Sifs assistance you picked up Otholiths from Red fish heads.
We brought you to Stfan who show you shrimps, with blue eggs! (what a thing!)and finally undress you ( out of the plastic bag, I mean) and we took a well deserved coffee break Kalli shows you micro organisms with a binocular and explained . how to do algae masterpiece.
And finally gisli explained you the secret of the whales ..
You all had a blast, and although it took almost 2 hours, you were really focused and interested that times has been flying.. When I asked you, at home, what you liked the most...
