If you took a quick survey of the photos I take, a fair few would be self-portraits. Its not that Im vain, its just that I need subjects, willing subjects and unfortunately theyre few and far between in my family! But the challenge with self-portraits is trying to get the focus right. Using the self timer on my camera requires it to be focused 1st! But what do you focus on when the subject is behind the lens? The solution came to me via a friend, Nini. She said she sometimes uses a web-cam to capture self-portrait images. Perfect! The images arent the best quality, but theyre fun to create!
