I bet you're one of those teachers who students are just a tiny bit scared of, but to whom they credit all their skills / lessons learnt! There are students even now saying "if it hadn't been for Helen, I wouldn't be the person I am today".
I for one can picture that stare!! I used to teach little ones and I know well how that "stare" can work!! I know you must be an awesome teacher!!! Congrats on the full time position!!
