Im sure you all know what I was thinking here! First of all, of course, all those familiar songs were firing off in my headI am woman, hear me roar, and I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, cuz Im a W-O-M-A-N!yeah! I was feeling strong, powerfulproud! (And yup, like so many, it started to be something else entirely that I wanted to express.something about how my head went in so many directions, the wants, the shoulds, the have-tos you know what I mean!) Anywhooothis really got me thinking about our species and how we really do have something of which to be proudwere NOT the weaker sex in all reality, were empathetic, understanding, warm, give more than we take and can withstand a lot more pain and ETC!!! But dang it! They DO look a whole lot prettier 10 minutes out of shower!!! Isnt that infuriating? I mean, they jump out of the shower, slap a little white foamy stuff on their face, run a razor over it, spend, oh maybe 2 minutes doing their hair, throw on some clothes (dont have to worry about any of the extras!...a pair of chones and socks and theyre covered!), and BAM!...they look great! Meanwhile, Ive barely got my cream on! LOL! and the balancing act were forced to deal with on a daily basis! Sheesh! We may not physically possess 3 heads and any number of appendages, but, we sure do mentally! Arent we the multi-taskers of the species? But, in all reality I am proud of our gender and I guess its worth doing holiday dishes (not to mention the cooking, planning, setting the table, and taking care of the guests) while they lay on the couch watching the games! LOL! (Hear me ROAR?)grin!
