"I wish you had learned to get along and like each other at an early age. Life would have been so much easier for both of you had you been allies instead of enemies. I dont even know exactly when it started. When Mom was pregnant with me, Sherri wanted a puppy but got me instead and never seemed to get over it. For a little while when I lived in New York, it seemed like things might change but then my needing answers from Mom about the abuse and Sherris jealousy over my connection to Katie mucked that all up. Right now we have a truce but we still arent sisters and that makes me sad. It would be nice to have a relationship like so many of my friends have with their sisters."
