Guard your wholeness. Do not chose to give away pieces of yourself for anyone, not even the man you marry. If you give away pieces you will no longer be whole and you will slowly evolve into someone who is not happy, not even aware of how lost they are. Learn to always be honest with yourself. Don't stuff your feelings, feel them. They may be painful, but they are made to be felt. Deal with your earlier life baggage. Do not give others permission to make you feel inferior. You are wonderful and special just the way you are. Learn and grow. Being true to yourself will not be easy, but when you are, then you can become a truly happy person. Then you can share that person with others and truly have marvelous relationships. Think with your heart not your head. Listen to your body. Pause and take time for you. You are worth it. If you had only known this advise when you were younger, you would not have to discover in your 50's who you really are again.
