Kinder knnen sich noch wundern ber jedes Ding,
und sei es auch gering.
Wir nennen sie naiv und halten uns fr klug,
dabei sehen wir nicht mehr genug.

Ill try to translate - but it sounds much better in german

Children may still wonder about each thing,
no matter how small.
We call them naive and think we are wise
but we have forgotten, how to look closely
