JYC 2010 Dec 16

Every year I follow an online class by Shimelle Laine (I know, you're all bored with me bleating on about her, but she's fantastic, I promise) called Journal Your Christmas and she gets us to create a Christmas journal that is not just a "We did this, then that, then the other today" type but digs a little deeper.

Prompt 16 was all about a moment of clarity in all the madness, and I happened to have one that day - at the expense of my poor panicking friend!

I love doing this class every year and pondered for a while on what format to take this year, until I came across Molly's fabulous P365 Template Bundles - and I appropriately used December's. I had no hesitation, mind you, in knowing that I wanted to use Molly & Amanda's stunning "Then There Was You"

What lovely journaling! I think I need to print this beautiful layout and save it for inspiration for next year's holiday planning! Just great!

Love your journaling Selena! And I'm glad that you didn't post the moment of clarity when you had it...I might have been too jealous to stand it! My moment of clarity didn't come until Christmas Eve!

Great journaling .. wow! And lovely pictures and papers going with that 'tranquility'.

Talk about painting a picture with words ... wow! You know how much I love the way you get your thoughts onto "paper", you do it with such clarity, such purpose, such style. Molly's template perfectly suites the your page too ... it allows for your story to take centre stage ... I love that your photos perfectly reflect your relaxed approach too, how idyllic, dogs resting in front of a roaring fire ... bliss!

This is gorgeous Selena! Love your journaling & these photos! ... Sadly I didn't keep up with the class this year since a death in my family slowed me down, but I'm hoping to scrap at least the first 12 days of Dec since I started it & want some sort of nice number, lol!

Love your take girl!
