Remembering South Park

I'm taking an online class on journaling and we were instructed to use repetition as a story telling format which I found flowed pretty easily with the sad reminisce about my childhood.

I knew I wanted it to be on white paper, but I am so pleased with how great Nina's Dream.Wish.Believe paper worked out underneath. Thanks, Nina.

oh Selena this is just too sad, love the layout but the journalling made me feel melancholy for the places I know that have been destroyed.

Isn't it so sad when places we remember from our childhood no longer live up to our memories? You've created a wonderful vision, I can almost picture it myself ... it's such a shame that time hasn't worn well on South Park for you Selena ... I hope Emilie has such fond memories too, then at least you can still share them with each other.

Oh my. This is so touching & poetic & sad all rolled together. The "don't come back" really grabbed me. It's sad to see the places we love turn to decay.
