Here's a page from me for this weeks Designer Spotlight Challenge featuring the the wonderful work of TaylorMade Designs!!!
My journaling reads:
For future reference
Make sure you do some gentle stretches to warm up your muscles BEFORE you decide to spend five hours digging weeds out of the garden (that way you'll prevent DAYS of agony whenever you try to pick something off the floor). Make sure that the first coat of paint you apply to freshly plastered walls in thinned out a little (that way it wont take the plaster off the wall whenever you try to push the roller up & down). Make sure the cable for the hedge trimmer is kept safely out of the way BEFORE you start trimming the shrub at the front of the house (that way you wont accidentally cut through the cord and blow the fuses for the all electrical items in the house). Make sure you take your Radley handbag off the hook on the shopping trolley BEFORE you put it into the trolley park and drive home (that way you wont panic when 24hrs later you realise youve lost your bag and need to phone up your bank to cancel your credit / debit cards). Make sure you have the correct tools for the job BEFORE you move all the furniture out of the bedroom and lift the carpets to try to fix the squeaky floorboards (that way itll save a lot of time, effort & frustration and will actually fix the problem once and for all). Make sure you have enough tea-bags to last you the weekend BEFORE you decide to spend all day in your PJs, catching up with events in the digiscrapping world and watching movies (that way you wont have to suffer whilst DH drinks a steaming hot mug of freshly brewed coffee, whilst all you have to drink is a glass of water). Make sure you separate the whites, darks and coloured items of clothing BEFORE you put them into the washing machine (that way DH wont end up having to wear pink sports socks when he goes to the gym). These are some of the pearls of wisdom I have learnt the hard way.
Thanks for looking!
