I was thinking about thoughts and how they travel through our mind so quickly, almost without us realizing ithow those same thoughts can color our dayand so I wrote a poem.(why oh why do I feel compelled to that when I have no training or talent in that direction whatsoever??? LOL!) Anywhooo.heres my piece and poem.

Introspective

Reminiscing about the past,
memories of yesterday
thoughts of today ,
dreams of tomorrow
Each a tiny remnant of the dayminute fragments of time
the essence of being.
Recollections of sadness,
sorrow, regret
grief.
Memories of joy
laugher, smiles
enchantment
Reflections flit through my mind,
reminiscent of leaves swirling, caught in a soft, lilting breeze.
Ill cloak the sorrowful feelings, veil them in the thickest silk
bury them deep,
hidden far from reach,
untouchable
and bring to mind only those which
renew, refresh
bring thoughts of happiness
peace
a smile.
