My "now-nine-year-old" daughter has always come most fully alive in nature. Inside, she doesn't like sticky feelings, wet textures, etc...but outside she is an entirely different girl. Since before she could walk or talk she was connected to anything nature, especiall bugs and critters. Here, you can see, she literally got into it!
