Journaling: It was love at first sight. I read the sentence "In all the kerfuffle nobody seemed to have noticed Harry, which suited him just fine..." from Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix. It was June 2003, and I fell in love, right then and there, with the word kerfuffle. It's at once so expressive, so adorable-sounding, and onomatopeic. I enjoy writing and saying it. I get tickled when I read a book and I find it. And until now, I can't help but giggle when I say it.
