I didn't do the whole week day by day, but at least I did a review of one of the most important weeks of my life!
March 26
They arrived to the airport at 14:15.
It was so good to see them from the glass, but was extremely touching for me to see my grandson for the first time since his birth. In the first few minutes he was a little confused but in 10 minutes he did already open to us.
Such a blessing!
We drove home, I live in my sons house, and was the first time he saw the it and I was relieved that he and his wife liked it!
March 27
All the family gather together in a Restaurant to meet my son, his wife and my grandson. We even had family from Buenos Aires. Jonathan fell asleep in the car, so it was a bit scary for him to wake up in the restaurant with so many people around, But again, after a short time he already was friendly to everyone. After eating we went to a Panoramic point in the Cerro Otto, and the baby really loved the sky car uplift to the top
March 28
We went to the festive small town Colonia Suiza. Its pretty wild, into the heavy Forrest.
We ate there and enjoy the folklore songs sung by local people.
Talking about great voices! Wow! Was impressive. After that we stopped in the Panoramic view and it took our breath away.
We continued to my mom house in town for a visit and
returned home.
March 29
We went to the Supermarket to buy the last things to celebrate Passover that was starting in the evening. It was very exciting as it was the first time I would be with at least with a part of my family for the Holiday since I left Israel. My cousins from Buenos Aires were coming too.
It was physically hard on me as I was pretty sick the last days,
but I pulled it out somehow and we REALLY enjoyed it
March 30
We went to the city and buy presents for all the family. It was fun! We tried chocolates from all the stores here, we dance at the street, ate in a place called FRIENDS and went to my mom. After that we all went to a place special for toddlers and Jonathan ran in a Carousel for the first time in his life. He loved it! I was very excited, as a child I loved carousels more than anything else, and I could share it with my grandson.
March 31
We took the Cau Cau ship to the Victoria Island. We decided to take the VIP tickets that came with food, drinks and was very enjoyable.
It was raining most of the time and pretty cold, but it was the only day we could do it.
It was fun and we all had a very good time!
Getting nervous as tomorrow they are already leaving and I tried to remind myself that I am lucky that it happened at ALL
April 1
The sad day arrived.
The suitcases are done. We met the family again for a farewell in a restaurant in my mom complex. After that we went home to be together a few more hours and drove to the airport. We stay together in the
Coffee Shop
enjoying every second left.
At the end, it was touching and hard to see how the baby felt something is going on as he called me and my mom to get far away from the exit.
I will never forget that...
