This was created 4/2010 for Frameworthy Challenge at SBG. Inspiration was Christel Dall's piece "Your Junk-MyTreasure" which you can see at her online MOCA art gallery. This did start out as a flat piece, but as often happens to me, when i try to create something about an emotional topic it sort of turned into one of my 'diorama dramas'. I don't know why..I'm just odd. LOL

The lyrics to the twangy blues song ' I Asked For Water (He Gave Me Gasoline)' written by Chester Burnett and sung brilliantly by Lucinda Williams have been in my head for weeks. Finally, I realized I was thinking about unmet needs and unfulfilled promises (I'm recently divorced), and figured I'd better make something out of it. I stumbled onto this Joe Designs kit 'Old Town', which just LOOKS like a Lucinda Williams song to me! lol The rest evolved from there.
