This time of year is really difficult since I lost my little brother a couple years ago.
What is my biggest wish for Christmas (or biggest wish period)? To have just another moment with you, baby brother. For you to meet your precious niece. Im missing you something awful and my heart aches for your warm presence. All our family gatherings seem somewhat empty without you there I keep waiting for you to walk in the door with that booming laugh of yours and twinkle in your eye. Adeline is turning into a beautiful, vivacious little girl so quickly and how I wish she could know her Uncle Brett. She would have loved you so you would be the light of her life if were you still with us. You would have been the coolest uncle ever. I wish with all my heart you could be here with us to share the joy Adeline has brought to all our lives.
