Scottish Kilt

My layout for my Spotlight Challenge this week!

Journaling Reads:

"My grandmother was the first born in Canada after her family immigrated from Scotland in the
early 1900s. Though she would never have the opportunity to visit the land our ancestors called
home, my grandmother shared her abundant Scottish pride with me, her first grandchild, through
the gift of a kilt. As the years passed it was one of only a few things my mother always kept close.
In September 2007 I brought that kilt to Scotland and passed this precious gift onto my daughter.
And there in the land my Grandmother had always longed to see, on the great-granddaughter she
never had the chance to meet, this little kilt & four generations of Scottish pride found its way
home."
