Strength of the Family Tree
The core of my family has always been the people on this page, starting with Mom and Dad. Whenever I think about the word 'family', these are the people I think of first. The family I grew up with and then my two children.
I was the oldest. I was the one who took care of all of my brothers and sisters. And we took care of each other. Mother's illness was a part of our young life, but then she got well and stayed with us until she was 81, helping to keep that core of 'family' that we all valued so highly. My boys carry on with these values and love. Every child that was added to the family, over the years, does also. It's amazing to be a part of this family. Wa are all blessed.
