For November's O Stash Challenge.
On one cold and rainy day I took the kids out to the arboretum where we all snap some pictures of the trees in all their glory. It was the peek of Fall.
I used a Michigan ad (author unknown) to journal the event:
"It begins with a slow dance of turning leaves
and crenshendoes in a trillon tress a flame
for the next several weeks the curtain rises on nature's greatest show
as the woods slowly explode with a frenzy of color
the show spreads along every highway and coastline
in every city and town
admission is free
and great seats are avalible
everywhere
we can go to the movies, we can stay home and watch TV
or we can get up, get out
and go see something we will remember for the rest of our lives
an entire state in it's annual blaze of glory
the shows
appropriate for all ages. Enjoy Mother Natures
Greatest Show."
