journaling: Each & Every Day: E-Mail
Our friendship is a lifetime of history. We haven't lived in the same community together since 1978, but our friendship was important enough to both of us, to stay in touch, wherever we were and whatever our life circumstances. For the past few years, we have e-mailed each other everyday. We share the past and the ordinary present in our lives. We care about each other's aches and pains, sending words of humor and encourgement. We share the happiness of every day activities, our children, grandchildren, local news and gossip from our home town. (We can even talk about our ex's, which we don't with anyone else, because we lived that life together.) Here we are in her beautiful gardens, when I was there for a visit. June 2009
