"Grandma Bryant is a typical no-nonsense farm wife. She bakes most of her own food, takes care of the house and husband, and, at 91 still drives the golf-cart around the farm to pull weeds and plant her garden. So when I found this picture of her with Grandpa Lester, not too many years before he died, it struck me to see her holding on to her husbands hand. This is a side of the woman I dont know, and probably wont ever know. Maybe she was just fussing and pulling him closer in the picture, getting him in just the right place. But I perfer to think that she was reaching out and grabbing the hand of the man she married on her sons wedding day."
