These are photos of my two precious daughters, Jocelyn (bottom with her hand on her head) and Stephanie (top in black dress). They are the light of my life and the two best creations God has blessed my life with. Without his help, I doubt they would be the wonderful, bright, giving sweethearts they are today. Although I, (a trench prejudice) think they are beautiful, it is their hearts, bursting with love, which gives me the most joy. It reminds me of my mother when I was in high school. I would come out of my room, all dressed up, ready for an outing, (after several takes in my mirror, admiring my pretty outfit, and hair), and go out to the living room and ask my mom how I looked. She would nearly always begin with, Pretty is as pretty does!.much to my chagrin! LOL! There was always a big grin on her face as she knew I was fishing for a compliment!...but she also believed that it was much more important that I learn and stay focused on what was important in life and it wasnt my appearance! She would always smile and then tell me what I wanted to hear. Funny. After I had Steph and Joss, though I thought they were little dolls, and took such pride in their appearance, I was most pleased with their sweet little hearts, that have only grown bigger! They KNOW that it is their hearts that I lovewithout that, there is no amount of physical beauty can take its place and life ends in misery, as like a rose, beauty fades and is such a useless thing to base ones life upon. Thank you dear Lord for all your help raising my two angels.
