journaling reads: Today as we were sitting outside together enjoying the sunshine and watching the flowers grow, we started talking about all the things we love. We talked about flowers and animals and Jake. And we talked about Daddy. And suddenly you got a wistful look on your face and you said simply, I miss Daddy. And my heart just ached for you right then because I know these separations from Daddy when hes away serving our country really have you longing for him sometimes. His special brand of fun and play, his hugs and cuddles and his strong and safe arms. Most of the time we weather these times very well, but sometimes there are these moments when the missing feeling seems more pronounced. Just remember, no matter how far away Daddy travels, he will always be in your heart. He is always thinking of you and missing you too and it wont be long before he is home with us again.
