My daughter started band last year in 6th grade. The first recital was painful to listen to despite the fact I love her dearly. This recital marked the one year anniversary of that first one and my ears were happy! Kudos to the band teacher who had the patience to whip this group of beginners into a real band. Congrats to the kids on all their hard work.
