Wondering what a folly is?

Follies are buildings that were erected for no real purpose, sometimes on a whim. Referred to as "Rogue Architecture", The Oxford English Dictionary defines it as: ' FOLLY. A name given to any costly structure considered to have shown folly in the builder.' The tower in port is the most recent one built, but there are about 1600 across the UK.
Your artistic vision is very inspiring and always makes me think... I'm so happy that I have discovered your work. I've also learned something new as I did not know about these follies. Fantastic page.
