Day 12 (redo) Sisters

This is a redo of a Coughenour family photo scrapped back in 2011. I feel like the sisters can breathe free (as much as their corsets allow!) without a frame among the nature elements while the blocking keeps the rigidity of the picture company. I have a redo back in 2020 too but like this better.

I love the artsy vibe you gave this fabulous photo of the sisters. Love your reason for liberating them sooner than society as a whole did. Can you just IMAGINE those gosh awful corsets ? I really like that you removed the stiff feel of the formal frame giving them some space to breathe, but you still maintained the feel of framing. Love the artsy background, I'm sure the sisters were more spirited than what the photos of that era would suggest.
