Placed sp2, and sp1 (divide blend mode) on a new background.
Placed the psd frame/mask, and clipped my photo to the mask.
Created cluster with AT_1, Knitted Notions, SnowSprinklez, MM elements, and WL.
The type words and text box complete the layout. (Fonts: Athelas, Leaves and Twigs Three, Times New Roman, Adobe Caslon Pro)
Fabulous page, well-deserved recognition. A great photo and memory. We also had a coal bin, not sure I've ever heard mention of one before. The embellishments and title are perfect!

Thank you @dwsewbiz. Interesting you also had a coal bin. Shoveling the coal into the hopper was my winter chore. My dad would order either a ton or half ton of coal for the winter, so it was piled fairly high. He didn't convert to gas until the mid 60's.

I distinctly remember the coal delivery. We lived on the bottom floor, aka the basement, of my grandmother's house, and the truck would drive up the slanted driveway, place a chute in the coal room window a the back and the coal would shoot in. It was both fascinating and a bit frightening
Love the white space and vintage b/w photo of the time. We also had a coal bin. The old farm house was always cold, no heat upstairs in the bedrooms. Congrats on the feature!
