My family line is through Joseph Alexander and Burdon Eugene (Senior).
The photo was described as the Burchfield Men, 1900. The census of 1900 lists the family residence as Trinity, Texas.
APP Noetic Solid paper no. 1 fills the ground of the template. The photo was clipped to the Scenic mask. It was duplicated with one set to Overlay and one to Softlight. Text was added to the journaling boxes. Noetic elements created the cluster. A transfer was placed along the right edge to artistically join the page to the left hand side. This is the right hand side of a double.
Wow, this is a fabulous heritage layout and fantastic photo. The large mask & blending of the photo rally accentuates the history. I love the thread over the framed photo circling your ancestors.
Super to have this photo including an ancestor and love the blended large version with the smaller circled one. Aren't they a crew! You know I like the census reference too. Elements add just enough extra.
Fantastic photo, large and sepia-coloured in the background, then the detail in black and white.
Great clustering and design.
It's wonderful that the photo and stories/names have been passed down in your family. A real treasure.
The photo is so beautifully blended and the transfers/textures really add to the mystery and mood of the photo. This will be a special page in your photo album and family history.
