In June, my mother fell... Fortunately, she didn't break any bones... and after almost three weeks in hospital, she went to a residential care center for a short stay. After two weeks in the care center, she decided not to return to her apartment but to move into the care center permanently. It's not easy to find a place. After a short stay in three different residential care centers, she moved into a permanent room on Monday, November 17... And luckily, it's only 5 km from our house. It's so easy to visit her regularly. The photo was taken on her birthday in early October. She turned 96. We all celebrated together at our house. She now walks around with a walker and is still sharp as a tack...
But it takes some getting used to not living in her familiar surroundings anymore...

Lovely white-on-white layout. I like how you made a tight grouping and positioned it near the end of the ripped paper. Your mother is beautiful and I hope she adjusts to her new surroundings soon. :kitty1:
