JOURNALING:
these are really priceless pictures of my youngest son washing himself in the freezing waters of the Argentina- Chile Patagonia. The waters in the lakes come from the melting snow of the surrounding mountains and they are very cold all year around, even in the summer. I live in the Argentina Patagonia and my son come to visit me and at the same time he took off few months from regular life, to reveal this part of the world. Its a mochilero adventure that many kids do after they finished their military service and before University and the beginning of their adult lives. They are 21-22 years old most of them, and its their time to enjoy life. So he and his friends rented a pick up and drove to the wild Patagonia. It was summer and yet pretty cold in the glaciers land. Coming from a desert country, these kids are used to hot weather and they dont like the cold, at all! So it was hard on them, but they kept washing themselves even so- as they are used to do at home. The face of my son in the upper picture is priceless to me! My poor baby boy freezing - out but not giving up!
