Process:
The foundation began with sp1, then ALT layers were added, followed with AK layers.
The frame/mask was added and my extracted photo was placed over the frame. AK 3x4_1 layers were placed and clipped to the mask. Notions, threadz, and elements completed the layout.

Perfect choices and darling image. I love watching the ggrands work on projects,they seem so focused and work very hard. I really like your choice of placement for the notions.
 
Oh, what a sweet photo. Children who are working or playing are so focused on what they are doing. That has its own charm.
Wonderful OOB, blending and design with elements.
 
Everything Pam and Nia said, love that kitty curled up on a blanket. I have an animal drawing book like that...it's still on my "todo" list to learn to draw.
