I started by placing the 2 extractions (done by iPhone) on the page then wondered what yellow/pink palette I could use. Then I thought of the Folklore ALT, and how it presented a perfect woody scene. I added a brownish color fill in Screen mode at 75% to give it more of a vintage look. Blended a few pages from our books into the background.
Cleaned up the extractions, added custom shadows, then placed them on 'logs', adding some color.
Brought in a few MM and customized with Autumnal Notions.
Since Bowie wasn't wearing her full costume, I added a pink fill layer in Hard Light mode clipped to the extractions.

What a funny double page spread.
It could be straight out of an adapted Winnie the Pooh book.
The two of them look adorable in their costumes.
The crocheted costume is amazing.
How many hours did you spend crocheting until it was finished?
And then you still had time to create so many great pages.
Either you work extremely fast or you hardly sleep.
you are unbelievable.

Thanks so much! I don't keep track of hours, but I started this in early September, so it took about a month. I crochet in the evenings, usually in front of baseball or Masterpiece Theater on TV :-) I scrap mostly in the mornings over my coffee. Being retired, my time is all about health and hobbies and my grandkids :-) Oh and leaving a legacy!

Thanks! I am really proud of how these turned out and how much Oz loves his costume, and that he wanted to include Bowie (he still mostly sees her as an annoyance). It's also been wonderful rediscovering Pooh bear :-)
