My granddaughter and I are avid readers. I have a few old books I read at her age. One is Mystery on the Isle of Skye by Phyllis A Whitney. It seemed appropriate for her to wear her long green princess dress for the adventure!
APP Folklore Solid paper no. 1 and accents were added to the FotoInspired template. An Artsy Transfer (blue sky) was added to the ground. The Notions were added as accents. They were place to lead the eye across the page. A white stroke was added to the cursive stamps of the title. The text box was re-arranged to old a vertical title.
This is beautiful Nancy, nothing I love more than avid readers- I read a lot of Whitney & your right, the dress is a perfect pairing. She is one beautiful princess and your photos are stunning.I love that vertical titling and the font is perfect fairytale.
Gorgeous page.. love the mix of the B/W with Color photos.. well done and what a wonderful page to bring the stories to life, and your granddaughter is in deed a beautiful princess!
What an enchanting young lady.
I love the black-and-white photo in combination with the colour photos, especially the one with the purple thistle.
The elements are perfectly chosen and placed.
Agree with what everyone else said - she's beautiful and a reader! (My Oz is a reader, thanks to me, and it's so precious to me, although he is more into adventure but also classic Winnie the Pooh). Everything is so so perfectly thought out and composed!!
