This was possibly our most memorable birding event in the month of August. We learned of the presence of the Wood Storks while in Kentucky and got to see them in southern Ohio by detouring from our usual route home. It was so special.

What an amazing photo capture! Wow, your DH really caught it at the absolute best moment! It looks like the immature Woodstalk is taking it's first dip in the water and didn't know if the water was cold or not! Love the tag for journaling and the left edge trim.. Fantastic page! TFS!

Great pic. We have them in our yard in Florida, they are interesting birds. I love how you scrapped it, too.
