Process
A solid paper from AP MiniPalette Feirie was used as the foundation for the page. The photo was clipped to a MM Frame mask, duplicated, extracted with a custom shadow added and then resized slightly larger to extend beyond the frame edge. The photo of the stadium was clipped to a 12x12 fotoblendz mask, resized smaller, duplicated several times with the blending modes changed to color burn. The batter was added and using the color balance adjustment tool, an aged tint was added. The page was completed by adding an artsy transfer, transfers, splatters from the kit and dimensional embellishments.
This is really a nice, fun summer layout! I love the stadium photo clipped to the FB mask and reduced (great idea). The girls photo is really a nice perspective. The confetti and baseball player finished the layout nicely!
This is just so danged cute and creative! That batter! Read it but not sure I understand - that's OK - it looks great! Cute photo! I used to go to Yankees games when I was in college in Hoboken. I think about $10 (a bit of a splurge) covered the transportation to the stadium (Path & subway), ticket and maybe a beer I really like that crumpled paper in the background and the inclusion of the score!
