My layout was created using Sue Cummings' paper pack Color Wash-Brown and Dirty-Volume 10, wordart from Notebook 11, and the date from Notebook Memories. I also used paper from her March Special Offer to create the journaling paper and photo matting by recoloring them. I used many fonts: Lucida Handwriting, Arial, Forte, Cambria, and Courier New.
The photos were taken in August 2002, when I had to say goodbye to my 18 yr old daughter and watch her fly out of my life so she could go to Iraq to help fight for freedom. Thankfully God heard my prayers and kept her safe there. I thought the song by Suzy Bogguss called "Letting Go" was so appropriate for this layout.
