A very interesting excursion to the Ozeaneum, Stralsund May 2025

The aquariums in the Ozeaneum take visitors from the Stralsund harbor basin across the North Sea to the Arctic Ocean, showing marine habitats from the Bodden to the open Atlantic. The largest aquarium is the schooling fish tank, with a floor area of 300 m² and a curved, 10 m × 5 m, 30 cm thick, acrylic panoramic window. It holds 2.6 million liters of water. The other aquariums hold up to 200,000 liters of water and are between two and four meters deep; the smaller tanks hold several hundred liters of water.
