Oh this is precious and so beautifully done, it's magical. Your photo is awesome and your treatment really highlights that new life. Your blending is so soft I can't tell where you photo begins or ends, this is really gorgeous.

Thanks, Marilyn. I worked really hard on that blending. First, I placed a high key filter on the image. An extraction was way too jarring, so I had to blur the background with a depth of field tool (mom is sitting behind baby, wearing a white dress) and then blur it again, then blur the photo edge, and then overlay with strategically placed brushes filled with the same background paper. It. Was. A. Process.

WOWIE! That really was some process, but truly, it was well worth it with this gorgeous result. I'm even more impressed, thanks so much for explaining how you did it, I'm in awe but for sure - it looks wonderful for all that work!
