In northeast Arizona, in the Navajo Nation, the canyon has been home to different peoples over the centuries. We took a tour with a guide into the canyon. It was incredible and beautiful. It was my highlight of a three-week trip we took in May 2007 for genealogy, family, and to finally see the Grand Canyon. But first, we had to see this canyon and an intimate view within it.
