this bliss saturday photo edit challenge

alright, so I picked this photo as an extra challenge to myself as it is a camera phone pic!!! Yikes! There were no redeeming qualities about the pic, except for the actual content. (The girls have been buddies literally since the day they were born - the same day, next to each other in the hospital!) The sky was some weird shade of PURPLE , the girls faces were completely shaded over despite the beautiful sunny day and of course it is completely pixelated.

SO, kudos to Amanda for the fabulous tutorial, because now I can actually see the girls sparkling eyes and their teeth don't look popcorn yellow! (I also did a couple adjustment layers.)

I glommed onto the Leiko Beck "captured" mini kit like it was nobody's business - I know I will be using the leafy paper 2 over and over. I also used paper 5. Although I thought the sparkles on the word art were fabulous, I repeated the Paislee Press ink stain (from altered ego) as the dots on the letter instead (you may not be able to see these).

I also used the stripped down and rotated Paislee Press pressplate no 5, as Liz made this especially for the itty bitty camera phone pics. I did increase the size a bit so that my beefed up pictures could be in the spotlight.

Thanks for looking (especially at my long explanation for each move I made)! ;)
