7 months after Dad's passing, Mom is in hospital with Pneumonia, Congestive Heart Failure,Sepsis, Liver weakness and due to low BP, withdrawal from pain meds they aren't sure they can give her. If they do, she "may not" wake up.
So much was happening the last time I saw her- at Dad's service, that I only gave her a brief hug goodbye. I regret that now. I wish...

I can't leave without leaving you some comfort and affection. :heartpumppink: There are times when we stand on a wobbly board and can't find our footing. I am sorry for you and your mother! Don't blame yourself for the brief hug. Let's hope that you can still have a good time together and that she is in good hands and recovers. I hope so!!

Thank you, Su Sanne. She is 1000+miles away, so I'm not sure we can reunite. I love the wobbly board analogy because the past 48 hrs have been full of false flags, trepid possible diagnoses and scenarios. Most of all we just want her peaceful and comfortable and ready for her next phase of life's journey.

Then it's especially difficult for you! Depending on how close your bond is, sometimes a few kilometers can be a long distance. Maybe you can arrange one or two visits to make it easier for you and her. All the best and love to you ♥

This page is deeply moving and powerfully expressive. The rich, dark tones and layered textures perfectly capture the weight of uncertainty, grief, and longing. The use of the faceless figure surrounded by question marks is such a poignant representation of the emotional turmoil you’re going through. Yet, amidst the heaviness, the flowers and the message "Trust the Process" bring a sense of hope and resilience. Your art speaks volumes, conveying raw emotion in a way that words alone often cannot. Sending you warmth and strength during this difficult time.

Oh Amanda, I am so sorry to hear about your Mama!! I hope that she is doing better and you can give her a big hug really soon!! Your background reminds me of those pages we used to make where you color a page with a bunch of different colors and then put black over it all, then scratch it off?
