I have slightly modified my process based on the Savvy Photobook Project.
Copied desired photos into a folder. Based on # photos, found a good template page.
Copied the whole page onto the left side, then clipped photos to masks.
Added a few masks/frames from another FotoInspired page to teh right. Added a 2-part extraction (iHpone extracted Oz, then I manually extracted the tether ball, added a longer string).
Then I filled in the background with papers and transfers to balance colors.
Added just a few embellishments for visual interest.
