Inspired again by Anna's Studio Hour last Friday. It's not about food, but that's OK, it's still a fun palette to work with. Griffin, 2008, wanted to be a Ninja for Halloween, so I made this costume for him.
Pattern Paper 1 was placed for the foundation. The layered frame was placed (mask turned off) and the extracted photo with custom blurred, warped drop shadow was placed within the frame layers. Embellished with elements, paint, splatter, one brush from the palette and Paper Texture, recolored, blend mode Linear Burn. The Buddha was adjusted with Levels and Hue/Sat to a gold tone to complete a visual triangle. Fonts used were Ninja Warrior and Nagamaki Script.
Perfect costume and page. I like all the colors of this palette, they are very fun to work with and it allows a lot of latitude in image choices. The extraction is stunning.
